Exploring the Vibrant Tourism Scene in Dong Nai: Racing Towards Innovation

The tourism industry in Dong Nai is undergoing a significant transformation, striving to create distinctive tourism products that showcase the rich cultural heritage and the essence of Dong Nai’s people.

Introducing New Tourism Products

Aligned with the resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress, tourism is identified as one of the four breakthrough tasks for the period of 2020-2025. In pursuit of this goal, the tourism sector is embarking on a journey to create new tourism products, while also promoting and connecting tourism businesses to effectively exploit these products, aiming for breakthroughs as set out in the assigned tasks.

Since 2023, Dong Nai province has embarked on a journey towards sustainable tourism development by initiating two eco-tourism projects nestled within the serene forests of Dinh Quan and Vinh Cuu districts. These projects aim to showcase the region’s natural beauty while promoting conservation efforts and providing unique experiences for visitors.

In addition to these eco-tourism endeavors, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has also given the green light to the development of exemplary agricultural tourism products in Tan Trieu pomelo village, situated in the picturesque Tan Binh commune of Vinh Cuu district. This initiative seeks to celebrate the agricultural heritage of the region and offer tourists an immersive experience in rural life, allowing them to participate in farming activities, sample local delicacies, and engage with the warm and welcoming community.

The eco-tourism projects in Dinh Quan and Vinh Cuu districts are designed to highlight the rich biodiversity of Dong Nai’s forests, providing opportunities for nature lovers to explore lush greenery, discover hidden waterfalls, and observe diverse flora and fauna in their natural habitats. These projects also prioritize sustainability and environmental conservation, incorporating eco-friendly practices and promoting responsible tourism principles.

Meanwhile, the development of agricultural tourism products in Tan Trieu pomelo village aims to showcase Dong Nai’s agricultural heritage and promote the cultural significance of pomelo cultivation in the region. Visitors can partake in activities such as fruit picking, traditional farming techniques, and culinary workshops, gaining a deeper understanding of the local way of life while supporting rural communities.

By diversifying its tourism offerings and embracing sustainable development practices, Dong Nai is positioning itself as a premier destination for travelers seeking authentic experiences and meaningful connections with nature and culture. These initiatives not only contribute to the economic growth of the region but also foster a greater appreciation for the natural and cultural treasures of Dong Nai province.

Moreover, Dong Nai is intensifying its efforts in propaganda, promotion, and inviting tourism experts to survey, consult, and support local communities in developing agricultural tourism based on existing potentials. These endeavors are expected to generate new tourism products, fostering breakthroughs for the tourism sector in alignment with the spirit of the Provincial Party Committee’s resolution for the period of 2020-2025.

Innovative Tourism Initiatives

Mrs. Dinh Thi Lan Huong, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve (referred to as the Reserve), which manages over 100,000 hectares of forest land, shared insights about the implementation of the Ecotourism, Resort, and Entertainment Project of the Reserve in the 2021-2030 period in Vinh Cuu district. The project envisions planning 51 tourism development sites, 37 forest exploration routes, and connecting tourism routes. The Ecotourism Project is one of the two projects that has garnered public attention and anticipation for early implementation. Consequently, the Reserve is establishing criteria to invite investors to participate in bidding to implement the tourism projects outlined in the plan. Investors meeting the criteria will submit their documents for bidding to execute the projects. The initial phase of the project, in 2024, is expected to select investors for two projects: the Wildlife Safari Reserve and the Aviation Park.Khu du lịch Sơn Tiên – Dự án công viên nước lớn nhất tại Đồng Nai

Furthermore, apart from the aforementioned endeavors, numerous other tourism projects are currently in progress, navigating through procedural formalities to bring forth exciting opportunities for visitors. One such project is the Eco-tourism Complex Project situated in the enchanting Chua Chan Mountain and Nui Le Lake area, nestled within Xuan Loc district. This project aims to harness the natural beauty of the region and create a sustainable tourism destination that offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, birdwatching, and water-based adventures.

Additionally, Bien Hoa city is set to introduce captivating river tourism routes, allowing travelers to explore the scenic landscapes and cultural landmarks along the waterways. These routes promise unique perspectives of the city’s heritage sites, traditional villages, and lush greenery, providing visitors with unforgettable experiences while promoting environmental conservation efforts.

Moreover, Dong Nai province is also focusing on the development of eco-tourism combined urban area projects in several localities, blending modern amenities with natural landscapes to offer residents and tourists alike a harmonious living environment. These projects aim to strike a balance between urban development and environmental preservation, creating sustainable communities that prioritize green spaces, eco-friendly infrastructure, and cultural heritage preservation.Bỏ túi 12 khu du lịch đẹp hết nấc xõa tẹt ga không lo giá tại Đồng Nai
